Formation
Proxies was founded in summer 2010, gaining significant attention quickly after their formation on social media platforms such as Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook with founding member, Fish, distributing demos in the form of free downloads via his Twitter page and personal blog.
Early demo downloads included an untitled track featuring hip hop/nerdcore artist YTCracker.
In autumn 2010, Proxies performed their live debut as guests for select dates on Canterbury's headline tour. The band followed up this debut as support for Hadouken!'s headline shows scheduled between Hadouken!'s dates on Pendulum's Immersion Tour.
The band has continued to utilise social media outlets and have attracted a considerable following online, particularly through Jordan's Twitter account.
Live Performances
Proxies have toured and performed with the likes of Patrick Stump, Hadouken! and Metronomy as well as completing a series of headline shows in January 2011.
